Ferris Bueller's Day Off: Story Location Tour & Filming Locations
John Hughes once referred to his classic 1986 film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" as his "love letter" to Chicago, which is kind of funny considering a lot of this film was shot in various areas around Los Angeles. I tracked down these locations as well as the several locations he used in Chicago.
Embark on a nostalgic journey through the beloved 80s classic, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," as we visit the unforgettable filming locations that captured the essence of this iconic movie. Join us as we step into Ferris' shoes and traverse the streets of Chicago, reliving the escapades of Ferris, Cameron, and Sloane.
Our adventure begins at the legendary Von Steuben Day Parade, where Ferris famously commandeered a float for his exhilarating rendition of "Twist and Shout." Feel the energy of the crowd and immerse yourself in the infectious joy of Ferris' impromptu performance.

Have you ever wondered where the training scenes from Rocky IV were filmed at? I made the journey, matching up shots and doing my best to get as close as possible to some of the more elusive (and dangerous) locations that Sylvester Stallone bravely conquered as Rocky Balboa in his quest to become strong enough to defeat the human monster Ivan Drago.

#ET #filminglocations
E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (or simply E.T.) is a 1982 American science fiction film produced and directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Melissa Mathison. It tells the story of Elliott, a boy who befriends an extraterrestrial, dubbed E.T., who is left behind on Earth. Along with his friends and family, Elliott must find a way to help E.T. find his way home. The film stars Dee Wallace, Henry Thomas, Peter Coyote, Robert MacNaughton and Drew Barrymore.
Principal photography began in neighborhoods in Los Angeles County and in the San Fernando Valley on September 8, 1981. The project was filmed under the cover name A Boy's Life, as Spielberg did not want anyone to discover and plagiarize the plot. The actors had to read the script behind closed doors, and everyone on set had to wear an ID card. The shoot began with two days at Culver City High School, and the crew spent the next 11 days moving between locations at Northridge and Tujunga. The next 42 days were spent at Laird International Studios in Culver City for the interiors of Elliott's home. The crew shot at a redwood forest near Crescent City in Northern California for the production's last six days. The exterior Halloween scene and the "flying bicycle" chase scenes were filmed in Porter Ranch.
In this video we find the filming locations of 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy.
Subtitles are available in English!

In this video you will see the New York City Movie Locations from the 1988 Classic Comedy. First up is the apartment building area that was used several times throughout the film. Where Eddie Murphy shouted “good morning my neighbors” from the fire escape, and loudly sang “To Be Loved” in the street. The Barber Shop was down stairs on the bottom level, you will see the inside as well as the outside. Next up is the McDowell's restaurant location, which has been completely transformed: from the Soul Glo sign to the golden arcs. Then we will go to the park promenade where Lisa and Akeem walked along the East River and gave some pocket change to the Duke Brothers lol. We will then go inside Hoyt Schermerhorn Station to see the place Akeem vowed to renounce his throne for Lisa's marriage. Finally wrapping up with the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, where the King and his entourage depart to head back to Zamunda.
Enjoy
