In the heart of a quaint, forgotten neighborhood stood this small, weathered house. Inside, memories danced in every corner, whispered in every creak of the floorboards. This was the home of Edith and her beloved husband, Arthur. For decades, they built a life within these walls, filling it with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Edith was the epitome of grace and warmth, her gentle smile like a beacon of light in the darkest of times. Arthur, her devoted companion, stood by her side through every joy and sorrow, and their love a testament to the enduring power of partnership.

Putting pieces of the Puzzle together the best I could, I believe that Arthur found himself adrift in a sea of memories, each one a bittersweet reminder of the life they had shared. He wandered through the rooms, tracing his fingers over photographs frozen in time, each a cherished relic of their love story.
But as Arthur mourned the loss of his beloved Edith, the world outside their home marched on, indifferent to his grief. The city, and it's bureaucracy placed a condemnation notice on their door,
And so, the house stood abandoned, a silent witness to the love that once filled its walls. The photographs faded the mementos gathering dust as if even the memories themselves were slowly slipping away.
But to me, it's still a mystery why they didn't want any of Edith's belongings. Perhaps it was the weight of sorrow that hung heavy in the air, too painful to comprehend. Or maybe it was the fear of confronting their own mortality, a reminder that love, no matter how deep, could still be lost to time.
But amidst the desolation, there was a beauty to be found, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, love endures. For Edith and Arthur, their legacy lived on in the hearts of those who knew them, a testament to the power of a love that transcends even death itself. And though their house may have stood empty, their spirits lingered on, forever intertwined in the tapestry of memories they had woven together.

There are now more 401(k) millionaires than ever before. According to new data from Fidelity, there are now roughly 497,00 401(k) plan participants with balances of at least $1 million in their accounts. UBS financial advisor Tracy Byrnes joins Wealth! to break down some steps retirement savers can set themselves up to be a millionaire by the time they're ready to tap into their 401(k) plans. "It's much like when you diet Monday through Friday and then on the weekend you have pizza and potato chips and you wonder why you're not losing weight. It's the same thing. Slow and steady wins the race," Byrnes explains. She encourages retirement savers to not "set it and forget it," and explains the importance of revisiting a retirement account to rebalance and diversify. She warns, "What was good when you started working 20 years ago might not still work today." Byrnes also notes that it's equally important to increase contributions to the account as your salary increases. Maureen O'Hara ("The Quiet Man") plays a retired school teacher whose past is revealed after she befriends one of her former students (Eric Stoltz, "Pulp Fiction").
If you love the movie "Hoosiers" and have ever wondered where the movie was filmed or what locations were used, you've come to the right place!
I returned to Indiana and tracked down all the filming locations (including some deleted scenes) that were used to make the movie "Hoosiers." I also visited Milan, Indiana to see the roots of the actual Milan community that the Hickory Huskers were based on in the movie "Hoosiers," and to visit the Milan '54 Museum, which is loaded with history, memorabilia and some movie props.
I begin and end this video in Milan, Indiana but I visit and show all the filming locations in between, which were mostly in and around the greater Indianapolis, Indiana area. I also show some movie props that were used in the movie, and I included some interesting ties and places related to the movie in this video as well.
Some images and clips were used as "Fair Use" for educational purposes for this video.

Today we venture to the south to explore an abandoned plantation home that was built in 1850 by slaves. The man that once lived here used the property to farm tobacco for many years. He had 12 children while living in the plantation with 8 of them coming from his 3rd wife. The 2 other women he married both passed away within 10 years of being married to the man. This property was once on 16000 acres of land with multiple sheds, and slave quarters that ultimately were destroyed throughout the years. The man passed away in 1907 and was buried on the property along with 2 of his children that passed away before him. Over the years the plantation was passed down in the family and due to the way it was built along with an earthquake and heavy storms from hurricanes the home became uninhabitable and has sat abandoned ever since with everything still inside.
