๐ŸŽฌ Lights, Cameraโ€ฆ Tube! ๐Ÿš‡
Welcome to this cinematic journey through London's Underground as seen on film โ€” from the earliest silent movies to modern blockbusters.

First opened in 1863, the London Underground is the worldโ€™s oldest metro system, and over the years, it has become more than just a transport network โ€” itโ€™s a stage for storytelling. In this video, we explore how the Tube has been portrayed in over 25 films, capturing both the changing cityscape and the evolving art of cinema.

๐Ÿ“ฝ๏ธ Along the way, weโ€™ll visit:

Silent-era classics like Underground (1928)

Hitchcockโ€™s Downhill (1927) filmed at Maida Vale

Spy thrillers like Ring of Spies and Skyfall

Horror favourites including An American Werewolf in London and Creep

Comedies, cult gems, and even Star Wars: Rogue One at Canary Wharf!

๐Ÿ‘€ Weโ€™ll compare past and present station views, share behind-the-scenes trivia, and spotlight disused platforms like Aldwych and the hidden area at Charing Cross.

๐ŸŽฅ Whether you're a film buff, Londoner, history fan, or Tube enthusiast, there's something here for you.

๐Ÿ‘‡ Get involved!
Which film featured your favourite Underground scene?
Have I missed any memorable movie moments on the Tube?
If you could shoot a film at any station, which one would you choose?

Leave your thoughts in the comments โ€” and donโ€™t forget to like, share and subscribe if you enjoyed the ride!

Welcome to Astoria! Join me, your fellow Goonie as I visit locations from one of the best movies from my childhood! I love this movie, which makes this an unforgettable journey through Astoria, Oregon. We'll explore the iconic filming locations of the beloved 1985 classic, "The Goonies." This nostalgic adventure takes you through the charming coastal town that served as the backdrop for this timeless tale of friendship and treasure hunting.

Our tour begins at the heart of Goonies lore - the famous Goonies house in Astoria. We'll show you how it looks today compared to its appearance in the film, giving you a then and now perspective. You'll learn about the house's history and its current status as a must-visit site for fans.

Next, we'll take you to the Oregon Film Museum, housed in the old Clatsop County Jail where the movie's opening scene was filmed. Here, you can see props and memorabilia from "The Goonies" and other films shot in Oregon.

We'll also visit other key Astoria locations, including the picturesque Flavel House and the scenic spots where Corey Feldman, Sean Astin, and Ke Huy Quan brought their characters to life. You'll even get to see where the famous "Hey you guys!" scene was shot.

Our journey extends beyond Astoria to the breathtaking Ecola State Park on the Oregon Coast, where several pivotal scenes were filmed. We'll show you the exact locations and how they've changed over the years.

Throughout the video, we'll intersperse clips from "The Goonies" to help you visualize how these locations appeared in the film. We'll also share behind-the-scenes stories about the filming process, including insights about director Richard Donner and producer Steven Spielberg's involvement.

Whether you're a die-hard Goonies fan or simply love exploring film history and beautiful coastal towns, this tour of Astoria, Oregon, and its surroundings offers something for everyone. Join us as we relive the magic of "The Goonies" and discover why this charming town continues to captivate visitors decades after the film's release.

In this brand new Randomland adventure, we head deep into Maryland to track down the real Blair Witch Project filming locations. The 1999 cult classic horror movie terrified audiences with its โ€œfound footageโ€ style, and today we walk in the footsteps of Heather, Josh, and Mike as we explore the eerie woods around Burkittsville, Maryland.

We begin in the tiny town of Burkittsville itself, stopping at the town sign and cemetery before venturing into the surrounding forest. Along the way we discover filming spots including the red shed/shack/barn, the original parking area, the fishermanโ€™s rock and bridge, and even an abandoned mill straight out of a nightmare. Our journey continues deeper into the woods as we search for Coffin Rock, one of the most infamous and chilling locations from the Blair Witch Project.

What starts as a simple movie location hunt quickly turns into something much more unsettlingโ€ฆ we get lost in the woods, just like the characters in the film. What should have been a fun exploration of classic horror history goes HORRIBLY... or maybe hilariously... wrong.

The Blair Witch Project remains one of the most iconic and influential horror films ever made, and visiting these real-life locations brings the terror to life in a way few fans ever experience. Join us as Randomland collides with horror history โ€” if you dare.
