I reserve the right to be on occasion, full of it.

This is a video about the Dearly Departed Tour I took while in Hollywood in July 2010. Dearly Departed is famous for its tour around infamous places where Hollywood crime and drama took place, but this tour centers on movie filming locations. Our driver was not the famous Scott Micheals, but rather Brian Donnelly, who did an excellent job of telling us stories about these now-famous locales. Unfortunately, I left my storage card in my computer at the hotel, so I had to take the photos with my Blackberry. It was either that or nothing. So the photo quality is not what I like, but it is what it is.

Some of the movie locations we encountered include:

Martin Scorsese's "The Aviator" with Leonardo DiCaprio
National Lampoon's "Vacation" with Chevy Chase
Robert Zemeckis' "Back to the Future" both I and II with Michael J. Fox
James Cameron's "The Terminator" with Arnold Schwarzenegger
"Rebel Without a Cause" with James Dean
"Grease" with John Travolta and Olivia Newton John
Wes Craven's "Nightmare on Elm Street"
David Lynch's "Mulholland Drive"
Alfred Hitchcock's "Family Plot" with Bruce Dern
Francis Ford Coppola's "The Godfather"
"Happy Days" (TV show)
"Bewitched" (Movie) with Will Ferrell and Nicole Kidman
John Hughes' "Some Kind of Wonderful"
"Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" with Bette Davis and Joan Crawford
"L.A. Confidential" with Kim Basinger and Russel Crowe
"The Wedding Singer" with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore
"Ozzie and Harriet" (TV show)
"Pretty Woman" with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere
"Knocked Up" with Seth Rogan

Also, we went by some homes of famous people like:
Al Jolson (terrible picture, sorry Jolson fans :( )
David Schwimmer
Patricia Arquette
Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith
Judy Garland's home in the 1930s

I am your humble narrator. Enjoy!
