In today's video I go to some of the film locations from one of the greatest comedy films of all time, Shaun of the Dead.

"Shaun of the Dead," directed by Edgar Wright and released in 2004, is a quintessential blend of horror and comedy that has garnered a cult following for its innovative approach to the zombie genre. The film stars Simon Pegg as Shaun, a disenchanted electronics store employee who finds himself at the epicenter of a zombie apocalypse. Co-written by Wright and Pegg, "Shaun of the Dead" seamlessly marries sharp wit with genuine scares, creating a unique narrative that balances heartfelt moments with gory action.

Set in suburban London, the film explores Shaun's mundane existence, marked by a failing relationship with his girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield), a strained dynamic with his stepfather (Bill Nighy), and a co-dependent friendship with his slacker roommate Ed (Nick Frost). The onset of the zombie outbreak serves as a catalyst for Shaun's reluctant transformation from an apathetic everyman to an unexpected hero. I started watching The Walking Dead in 2014 and have been so hooked ever since. I recently took a trip down to Senoia and Atlanta GA to see the filming locations and it was absolutely surreal. The best portion of course was being able to drive in and walk around Alexandria. I do have some ideas for video essays so be on the lookout for those.

The murders of Oklahoma Girl Scouts, Lori Farmer, Doris Denise Milner and Michele Guse, have haunted the community of Locust Grove and beyond for decades.

On June 12, 1977, Girl Scouts from Tulsa and surrounding areas arrived at Camp Scott in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. As the girls went to sleep for the night, a thunderstorm rolled through into the early hours the next morning. When counselor Carla Wilhite heard something in the middle of the night, she got up to investigate. She heard a guttural moaning sound coming from the main road through camp. After investigating, she determined it was probably just an animal so she returned to bed.

The next morning on her way to the shower house, Wilhite made a horrible discovery. This was the beginning of a nightmare that would last decades as investigators try to uncover clues about the atrocious crimes committed at Camp Scott.
