When a once decadent neighborhood starts to become gentrified, a cabaret owner struggles to keep his club afloat. He is forced to take a stand against the powers that be to protect his family and livelihood, by any means necessary.

A story of a young girl who lives in the Swiss Alps with her goat-herding Grandfather.

These are the filming locations used for the movie "Flashdance." The movie was filmed in both Pittsburgh, PA and the greater Los Angeles, CA area. Most of the locations that were used in Pittsburgh still exist, while a number of the LA locations have been altered or are unfortunately, now gone. I focused heavily on the Pittsburgh locations while also including the LA locations to put this video together.

Some images and clips were used as “Fair Use" for educational purposes to create this video.

Vertigo is a 1958 American film thriller film directed by Alfred Hitchcock.

The film was shot on location in San Francisco/Bay area, California.

Vertigo is the first film to use the dolly zoom, an in-camera effect that distorts perspective to create disorientation. While visiting the hotel, Hitchcock asked to the special effect crew to built the tower stairs from the Hotel stairs. I stayed one night at the hotel and reproduced the dolly effect zoom using the hotel stairs a shown at 13:50.

Vertigo is considered as the greatest film ever made in the 2012 British Film Institute's Sight & Sound critics' poll.
