LOTR WELLINGTON | You can't visit New Zealand without visiting some of the Lord of the Rings film locations, it's a must! You can find some easily accessible ones in and around Wellington. Located on Mount Victoria, there are numerous scene locations, including the 'Hobbit Hideaway,' and 'Frodo's Reading Tree.' A 2hr road trip out of Wellington brings you to Putangirua Pinnacles where they filmed the Paths of the Dead and lastly, Red Rocks is where Frodo, Gollum and Samwise reach the Black Gate.

In this video you will see the Manhattan, NYC filming locations used for this classic sequel. "My family is in Florida and I'm in New York." In the montage: The Empire Diner, China Town, The Statue of Liberty and The World Trade Center will all be seen. The fish market where we first see the now Sticky Bandits to the subway stairwell they exit out on to 6th Ave will be up next. Then it's off to the Central Park area where we see the Pigeon Lady and The Plaza Hotel. The chase scene spots will also make an appearance in this video from the necklace vendor back to the Plaza. See the spot where Harry and Marv wipe out on the beaded necklaces. Following that is where they get punched by the French woman and then its off to Bethesda Terrace/Fountain. Where Kevin goes to get into a cab and wisely gets out is right up the street from where he slips on the ice. The Children's Hospital is also in this video, where he says the boy in the window. I managed to get to the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center but at the time of my visit, they weren't letting people get close. Enjoy.
