True Grit, the 1969 movie starring John Wayne, Kim Darby and Glen Campbell, remains one of the most popular westerns of all time. It was largely shot on location in southwest Colorado but parts of it were also filmed along Highway 395 in eastern California. Jeff and Sarah went to great lengths to video the various filming locations 57 years later and take you along!

This episode will include visits to Ouray County Courthouse, the town of Ridgway where many scenes were shot, the ranch that served as the Ross family homestead seen at the beginning and end of the film, Deb's Meadow where the famous showdown with Robert Duvall took place and Mammoth Hot Springs in California. The scenery is most breathtaking!
