This video features nearly every notable scene and location that was used for the filming locations for the 1993 inspirational classic movie "Rudy." I searched extensively around the Notre Dame campus and the city of South Bend, Indiana to find nearly 40 locations that were used during production to put this video together.
I am a huge fan of sports and movies, but strangely enough, I'm not that big of a fan of sports movies in general. However, there are three sports movies that really stand out to me that I love and enjoy for various reasons. They are "Hoosiers," "Field of Dreams," and "Rudy." I have been to the filming locations for each of those three movies and have seen other movie locations videos for "Hoosiers" and "Field of Dreams," but much to my surprise, I could not come across a filming location video for "Rudy." So, I decided to roll up my sleeves, get back on the road, and do a filming location video for a movie that I feel deserves one for people like myself who also love and enjoy this movie.
Some images and clips were used as Fair Use for the creation of this video for educational purposes. Special thanks to the University of Notre Dame, TriStar Pictures (clips), Jerry Goldsmith (music) and South Bend, Indiana.

You will find out: Salzburg is THE “Sound of Music” city! Roam in the footsteps of Maria von Trapp and Julie Andrews and find out which film locations were used for the movie in 1964.
What sounds like a modern fairy tale is actually a true story: that of the young budding novice Maria Kutschera. She moves in with the Trapps as the children’s governess and shortly afterwards marries the widower father of the family.

Photos I took - combined with movie footage - at locations from the 1980 movie Somewhere In Time, which was filmed on Mackinaw Island. The movie stars Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. A majority of the film was filmed in and around The Grand Hotel.
After 3 years of being Americans living in England and exploring all of what the United Kingdom has to offer, we have decided to make the ULTIMATE HARRY POTTER TRAVEL GUIDE. We are massive HP fans and have taken every opportunity we could to venture out and find all of the Wizarding World adventures that exist within our area. We decided to combine our love of the franchise with some of the videos we have made throughout our time here to hopefully help you plan your Harry Potter Travel Itinerary.
In this video, we cover all of the Harry Potter filming locations throughout the UK as well as some special events and places you can visit. We start things off in London where we run through a list of HP-inspired sites including Platform 9 3/4s at Kings Cross, the Warner Brother Studio Tour, and the Cursed Child.
From there we take things North, up to Edinburgh. While no filming was done there, this city is packed to the brim with Wizarding World gold. Whether you want to take a look at Tom Riddles's grave at Greyfriar's Kirkyard or see where the story all began at the Elephant House, Edinburgh has you covered. Scotland was also host to loads of beautiful film sites outside of the city, so if you're wanting to venture out, there is lots to see.
We wrap up by talking about all of the various spots you can visit throughout the whole of the UK. If you're timing is right you can hit up the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience. But no matter the season, the countryside is brimming with amazing sites that will have you feeling like you're walking through Hogwarts yourself.
Harry Potter is something we are both extremely passionate about and really enjoy getting to do things like this! We have been so lucky to live in England and be able to jump on these opportunities. We really hope this helps you plan where you will be visiting when you make the trip across the pond!
Tell us, what Harry Potter-related events do you recommend we visit next? What would you like us to share? What did you think of the video? Leave a comment, like, and subscribe for more!!

Going on a tour of one of my favorite movies, “A View To A Kill”, locations all found in San Francisco.
The locations visited on this tour are:
1) Fisherman’s Wharf, a famous tourist site on the San Francisco waterfront, where James Bond makes contact with CIA agent Chuck Lee (David Yip).
2) The Transamerica Pyramid, where James Bond almost loses vital parts of his anatomy on the peak’s antenna.
3) The San Francisco City Hall, where 007 escapes a fiery trap set by Zorin (Christopher Walken).
4) The corner of Davis and California streets, one of the locations along the firetruck chase route. The chase primarily took place in the financial district.
5) The Lefty O’Doul bridge, next to Oracle Park, also known as the 3rd street bridge. It’s where 007 jumps the raising bridge, leaving his police pursuers behind on the other side.

Some of the locations used for the 1971 film "Melody" starring Jack Wild, Mark Lester and Tracey Hyde.
1 St Mary's Church, Battersea (also used in the Michael Caine film "Alfie"). The Chelsea harbour opposite has now been completely redeveloped.
2 Crossing on Battersea Park Road (very near the Dogs' and Cats' Home) where Mrs Latimer turned her car around to follow the teachers' van.
3 The Ship public house on Kennington Road, SE11 where Melody's dad appears to be a regular and where Mrs Latimer dropped Ornshaw off when she gave him a lift home.
4 The horse trough at the junction of Lambeth Road and Kennington Road SE11 where Melody's suntanned goldfish took a swim. The local council has rescued the trough from dereliction and turned it into a flower display.
5 Hercules Road SE11 and the Pineapple public house; this is where Danny and Ornshaw took the bus "up west".
6 Danny's house in Musgrave Gardens, Fulham SW6. The hard football pitch opposite has now been grassed over and the railings that Danny and Ornshaw climbed have been dismantled.
7 Colet Court on Hammersmith Road W14, used for some exterior shots of the school.
The music is "Teach Your Children" by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, used over the closing movie credits ("Don't forget to change at Clapham Junction!")

Todays Filming location adventure brings us to one of my absolute favorite movie or I should say movies of all time. Back to the Future is the pinnacle of movie making. A masterpiece that stands the tests of time... See what I did there. The original film released on July 3rd of 1985 and was the launch and conception of many peoples obsession with the dynamic duo of Doc Brown and Marty McFly. This journey has been taken by many but has been a lifelong dream of mine to step where these legends once stood. For this location video we travel all over southern California and even make a pit stop in Orlando Florida At Universal Studios. Sit back relax and enjoy some locations from Back to the future, Back to the Future Part II, and of course Back to the Future Part III
The following was taken from Wikipedia
Back to the Future is a 1985 American science fiction film directed by Robert Zemeckis and written by Zemeckis, and Bob Gale. It stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, and Thomas F. Wilson. Set in 1985, it follows Marty McFly (Fox), a teenager accidentally sent back to 1955 in a time-traveling DeLorean automobile built by his eccentric scientist friend Emmett "Doc" Brown (Lloyd), where he inadvertently prevents his future parents from falling in love – threatening his own existence – and is forced to reconcile them and somehow get back to the future.
Gale and Zemeckis conceived the idea for Back to the Future in 1980. They were desperate for a successful film after numerous collaborative failures, but the project was rejected more than forty times by various studios because it was not considered raunchy enough to compete with the successful comedies of the era. A development deal was secured with Universal Pictures following Zemeckis's success directing Romancing the Stone (1984). Fox was the first choice to portray Marty but was unavailable; Eric Stoltz was cast instead. Shortly after principal photography began in November 1984, Zemeckis determined Stoltz was not right for the part and made the concessions necessary to hire Fox, including re-filming scenes already shot with Stoltz and adding $4 million to the budget. Back to the Future was filmed in and around California and on sets at Universal Studios, and concluded the following April.
After highly successful test screenings, the release date was brought forward to July 3, 1985, giving the film more time in theaters during the busiest period of the theatrical year. The change resulted in a rushed post-production schedule and some incomplete special effects. Back to the Future was a critical and commercial success, earning $381.1 million to become the highest-grossing film of 1985 worldwide. Critics praised the story, humorous elements, and the cast, particularly Fox, Lloyd, Thompson, and Glover. It received multiple award nominations and won an Academy Award, three Saturn Awards, and a Hugo Award. Its theme song, "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and the News, was also a success.
Back to the Future has since grown in esteem and is now considered by critics and audiences to be one of the greatest science-fiction films and among the best films ever made. In 2007, the United States Library of Congress selected it for preservation in the National Film Registry. The film was followed by two sequels, Back to the Future Part II (1989) and Back to the Future Part III (1990). Spurred by the film's dedicated fan following and effect on popular culture, Universal Studios launched a multimedia franchise, which now includes video games, theme park rides, an animated television series, and a stage musical. Its enduring popularity has prompted numerous books about its production, documentaries, and commercials.
Long-time collaborators Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis conceived Back to the Future in 1980.[9][10][11] They wanted to develop a film about time travel but struggled to create a satisfying narrative, and were desperate for a successful project after the critical or commercial failures of their recent efforts in collaboration with Zemeckis's mentor, Steven Spielberg.[9][10][11]
Following the release of their comedy Used Cars (1980), Gale visited his parents and came across his father's high school yearbook.[11][12] He wondered if he and his father would have been friends had they attended school together. He did not think so, but realized he could test his theory if he could travel back to a time when he and his parents were a similar age.[12] He shared the idea with Zemeckis, who recalled his mother's childhood stories were often contradictory.[11]
Gale and Zemeckis began a draft in late 1980. They sketched and acted out each scene to help develop the dialogue and actions.[12] They believed many time-travel films focused on the past being immutable and wanted to show the past being altered and the effect those changes would have on the future.
When I got to Hawaii, I knew what I wanted to see... everything Elvis did! I found so much info on Blue Hawaii filming locations, in fact, we stayed at the same hotel where it was filmed... but a movie I love just as much, "Girls! Girls! Girls!" had NOTHING on the internet about its filming locations! So, after a TON of investigation, we found them! Visit Honolulu... as an Elvis fan, you won't regret it!
