Today we are going on an adventure to find the filming locations for the 1991 Michael J. Fox Comedy Classic, Doc Hollywood!
We will be finding a good chunk of the locations from the fictional town of Grady, South Carolina where Ben Stone (Michael J. Fox) was basically trapped until his car could get fixed! This has always been a favorite of mine and I hope you all enjoy this episode!

Cocky young doctor Ben Stone (Michael J. Fox) is off on a road trip to California in pursuit of a relaxed and high-paying career as a plastic surgeon to the rich and famous. But before he can pass the Mississippi River, he crashes his car on a small-town judge's property in South Carolina and incurs a community service fine, to be served out at the local hospital assisting the aged town doctor, Dr. Hogue (Barnard Hughes). Ben is soon tempted to stay by a pretty ambulance driver (Julie Warner).

On our way to Key West we wanted to check out the filming location for Doc Hollywood filmed in Micanopy, FL released 1991. This movie is one of my all time favorites with great actor Michael J. Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's the same year Doc Hollywood was released.

Michael J. Fox Foundation has raised 1.5 Billion dollars as of the date of this video. Parkinson's is a horrible disease that effects 90,000 new people every year currently without a cure. Hollywood's Hallowed Grounds: Episode 1 — Dazed and Confused (1993). So, if you are familiar with my Horror's Hallowed Grounds episodes this is something a little different. Obviously, Dazed and Confused isn't a horror film so I am presenting this under the Hollywood's Hallowed Grounds banner because either way it's still HHG. baby! I threw this together from random footage and photographs I had shot from multiple visits to the filming locations of the movie Dazed and Confused starting back in 2004. This was stuff I shot for fun and NEVER intended them to be used in an episode but while I'm stuck at home during the Corona Virus Quarantine this sounded like a fun project to try and put together on my own. The quality here and there is a bit lacking but I enjoyed piecing this together. Since it first opened its doors in 1915, Universal Studios Hollywood has entertained guests with a behind-the-scenes Studio Tour of its back lot - where countless classic movies like 'Psycho,' 'To Kill a Mockingbird,' and 'Back to the Future' have been filmed. In this episode of Hollywood Secrets, we take you inside the sets of some of your favorite classic films.

Just before lockdown we managed to visit a few locations used in TARANTINO'S ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD. We went to El Coyote, saw Sharron's cinema, went to Musso and Frank's and took the Universal studio tour to see where Leo had his acting moment.
