It's not often that I come across such a spectacular abandoned farmhouse to explore. Built-in 1876, this home has stood the test of time for the last 147 years. Sitting on 8.5 acres of land and featuring beautiful gingerbread decorations, dormers, stunning woodwork, and a beautiful porch, it's been abandoned for 4 years. The home hosted grand garden parties with attendance reaching over 5000 people, and in 1891 the lush lawns, gardens and orchards were illuminated with electric arc lights which happened to be one of the earliest uses of electricity in the Township. In 2019 the property sold for 14 million dollars as vacant land zoned for commercial use. While the house has heritage designation, it still seems like they want it demolished to make way for new businesses. With the surrounding area already under heavy redevelopment, it's only a matter of time until this amazing piece of history is lost forever unless the city steps in to properly protect it.

Today i explore an abandoned house lost in the mountains for decades, this abandoned house is the definition of a Prewar time capsule and has been left completely frozen in time for a number of decades in the mountains, This hidden gem of an abandoned house sits untouched in the welsh countryside with the beds still made, dinner table still set and vintage furniture dating back to over a hundred years. This abandoned barn was converted into living space and I was told it was a former bikers clubhouse. It included 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large bar, a commercial kitchen and a lounge area. It also had a few outbuildings and trailers for guests. It was later sold to a religious group to use as a religious retreat. It has been abandoned since 2007.

My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.

This beautiful old house was built in the early 1800’s for a German family who moved to the united states in the late 1700’s eventually settling in South Carolina. The house was supposedly built around 1820-1825. The family farmed cotton,sweet potatoes and timber as well as other crops. Its isolated location protected it during the civil war and out of Sherman’s march to sea. Sadly now it seems the land is being developed all around, the fate and future of this house seems uncertain if it will be saved or torn down. This stunning second Empire house was supposedly built around the mid 1800’s sometime after the civil war for Western Dime Novel Author Ned Buntline. The man lived a very fascinating life supposedly meeting Wyatt Earp and some of the most famous names of the Wild West. I would encourage you to google Ned Buntline if this interests you because the man lived a very interesting life and I couldn’t possibly sum up all the strange and bizarre stories I’ve read about the author. He moved into this house with his fourth wife around 1871 and would live in this home until his death in 1886. He would name the house Eagles Nest after seeing two eagles nearby nesting in a tree on the property is the rumor. The house passed through multiple owners after Ned, sadly the house would end up vacant most of the later half of the 20th century only being used for storage. I spoke with a man who collects the maple syrup from the trees all around the property, and he said he made an offer to buy the house 30 years ago but was told it’s in to bad of shape, now 30 years later and the house is completely collapsed in the center of the mansard roof. (If you were curious what the blue hoses on the trees around the house, it’s maple trees and syrup being collected) big thanks to the neighbor for chatting with me and explaining about the maple syrup. In the heart of a quaint, forgotten neighborhood stood this small, weathered house. Inside, memories danced in every corner, whispered in every creak of the floorboards. This was the home of Edith and her beloved husband, Arthur. For decades, they built a life within these walls, filling it with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Edith was the epitome of grace and warmth, her gentle smile like a beacon of light in the darkest of times. Arthur, her devoted companion, stood by her side through every joy and sorrow, and their love a testament to the enduring power of partnership.

But as Arthur mourned the loss of his beloved Edith, the world outside their home marched on, indifferent to his grief. The city, and it's bureaucracy placed a condemnation notice on their door,
And so, the house stood abandoned, a silent witness to the love that once filled its walls. The photographs faded the mementos gathering dust as if even the memories themselves were slowly slipping away.
But to me, it's still a mystery why they didn't want any of Edith's belongings. Perhaps it was the weight of sorrow that hung heavy in the air, too painful to comprehend. Or maybe it was the fear of confronting their own mortality, a reminder that love, no matter how deep, could still be lost to time.
But amidst the desolation, there was a beauty to be found, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, love endures. For Edith and Arthur, their legacy lived on in the hearts of those who knew them, a testament to the power of a love that transcends even death itself. And though their house may have stood empty, their spirits lingered on, forever intertwined in the tapestry of memories they had woven together.

Im sure you’ve heard of the term love at first site. for jack and Deborah that was their life. They were soul mates living life to fullest together. Jack who a man on honor and integrity and fought for our country and for his family. He and Deborah ended up being married for over 60 years traveling the world, and raising their children. When they grew older Jack had fallen asleep one night only to not wake up the next morning, his wife was very distraught at the loss of her best friend. But even though she was in so much emotional pain she fought through for another 2 years by herself and in 2014 she laid in the same bed where jack took his last breath and went on to be with him again. Their home is now frozen in time left with many memories of their life together. So join me today and let’s see what’s left.

Hello. I'm Charles from Louis Purple, and today I'm going to teach you how to tie a Windsor knot. The Windsor knot is actually a very simple knot to tie, and it's very useful because it projects confidence. So it's a wide, triangular knot that's very suitable for presentations, job interviews, or cultural appearances, which I hope you don't frequent too often. So this is how you start.

You just find the right balance depending on the length of your tie, with the wide end on the right hand side and the narrow end on the left. You might want to adjust exactly where the center of the tie should be at in the middle of your neck. So this is how you start. You cross over the wide end over the narrow end. You bring the wide end through the loop between the collar and the tie. And you bring the wide end back down.

Then you just pull the wide end underneath, and then bring it up through the loop again in order to have a symmetrical shape, which should look like this. And you're almost done. There's only the easy part left and the most rewarding. Pull the wide end in front. Bring the wide end underneath, and then slide it inside the loop and tie it in the knot. You draw the knot up in order to fit your collar. So it's a knot that's really suitable for widespread collars. And as I said, then you can just adjust and tighten how big of a knot you like to obtain. This is how you tie a Windsor knot.
