Hidden in the forests of Nara, Japan lies one of the most famous abandoned theme parks in the world. Nara Dreamland opened in 1961 and was heavily inspired by Disneyland, featuring a similar castle entrance, Main Street-style shopping area, roller coasters, dark rides, and even a monorail system. For decades it was a popular attraction, but as newer parks like Tokyo Disneyland began to dominate the tourism industry, Dreamland slowly lost visitors and eventually closed its gates for good in 2006.

I first visited here in 2016 it's now 2026 and since then so much new pictures and videos from the past came out so I wanted to change the editing style and remake this video while adding in all the new yet old past footage! after all this is my favorite abandoned place in earth and was a big impact in my clothing store .

This 7500 square-foot home was custom built in 1987 for a man named Cecil Hawkins. He was a businessman in Toronto.

In 2023, it was bought by a developer along with the neighbouring house to be demolished to construct a six story luxury condo building. As of February 2026, this home has been demolished.

in this video, I state how I believed that this is how the house was when it was built. While I’m largely accurate, I found out it had some changes. And how I found that out was pretty interesting… 

This was the home used in the movie good fences featuring Whoopi Goldberg and Danny Glover. I wish I had known this information prior to filming this video. after watching the movie, it was made very clear that the house was not in its original state as it sat in my video. It was even more 80s than I could’ve imagined it to be. I strongly suggest checking out the film if you’re interested in seeing how the home once used to look. It’s still pretty cool knowing I explored another home used in a movie with some pretty well known actors!

In the woods of west central Georgia, I came across an abandoned house that looks at first like a simple rural home from the 1950s or 1960s.

But once I started looking closer, the story became a lot more interesting.

This old house appears to have been built using repurposed lumber. Some of the boards even show signs of having been through a fire, raising the question of whether parts of this house may have come from an older home that once stood nearby, possibly an 1800s house that burned before this one was built.

It is not the biggest house I have explored, and it is not the oldest, but places like this are still part of the story of rural Georgia. They show how people reused what they had, built with what was available, and left behind traces of earlier history without ever meaning to.

Join me as I explore this abandoned house in the woods, look at the strange burned lumber inside, and try to make sense of what this forgotten place may be telling us.

Preservation through documentation. Sometimes the story is not just in the house itself, but in the pieces that were used to build it.

I bought an old abandoned house sight unseen with all its contents and decided to explore what I got. A massive brick stove with mysterious bones inside, antique furniture, a box of buttons and vintage cufflinks, vacuum radio tubes — everything holds the memory of the people who lived here. Who were they? Why did they leave this house?

The massive stove immediately catches your eye — built to last, built with care. But when you look inside, you find strange bones. Honestly creepy. It's scary to even imagine what happened here. Further on — a huge room with low ceilings, and everything is in its place, as if the owners left recently.

In an old cabinet, a box of treasures from the past — a whole pile of buttons, keys, vintage cufflinks (one looks like gold), electronic watches. Radio enthusiasts would be envious — vacuum radio tubes lie on the table. In the corner are icons, classic carpets with deer above the bed, an old radio. Each item is a family's history, their daily life, their existence.

Behind the house is a collapsed barn without a roof and a mysterious cellar far from the house. Why did they build it so far away? The old stonework, the smell of dampness. Inside it's empty — perhaps someone has already been here. But the memory of the past remains in these walls.
