Hidden in plain sight in the middle of a prestigious neighborhood sits a $1.5 million dollar abandoned mansion last occupied by a prominent doctor in the area, the man not only was a doctor but a car enthusiast and race car driver, and when the home was abandoned so was the BWM M5 in the garage. The man and his beloved wife purchased the mansion in 1996 and added their own personal eccentric touches with new paint on the walls and abstract artwork all throughout as well as hundreds of various diecast collectible cars scattered everywhere. After doing extensive research we were unable to find out exactly what happened here. A nearby neighbor told us that they would always see him driving around in a Porsche that he took very well care of. But they also state that in 2015 they saw him putting things in a truck, loading his Porsche up and leaving only to never come back. After some years the neighbors became suspicious of the property becoming overgrown. When police were called to do a wellness check they discovered the home had been abandoned and found a squatter living inside. After noticing the harsh conditions of the home it was then condemned and left forgotten. So join me today and let’s see what’s left.

The Santa Clause is a 1994 American Christmas comedy film written by Leo Benvenuti and Steve Rudnick, and directed by John Pasquin. The first installment in The Santa Clause franchise, it stars Tim Allen as Scott Calvin, an ordinary man who accidentally causes Santa Claus (played by Tim Allen's actual stunt double, Steve Lucescu) to fall from his roof on Christmas Eve. When he and his young son, Charlie, finish St. Nick's trip and deliveries, they go to the North Pole where Scott learns that he must become the new Santa and convince those he loves that he is indeed Santa Claus.
The film was released on November 11, 1994, and grossed $190 million. It received positive reviews from critics and it has since become a Christmas-time staple among viewers. Its success led to two sequels, The Santa Clause 2 (2002) and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006), which were both financially successful despite the former's mixed and the latter's negative reception. The franchise continues with a follow-up series The Santa Clauses, which premiered November 16, 2022 on Disney+.
The film was shot at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, California, and on location in the Greater Toronto Area, with Oakville serving as the city of Lakeside, Illinois. The reindeer used in the film were all from the Toronto Zoo. The trains used in the North Pole scene and the start of the film were all made by LGB.
Filming locations for Series 1 of the classic British sitcom 'Open All Hours'. Open All Hours ranked eighth in the 2004 Britain's Best Sitcom poll, and Series 1 aired in 1976, over 40 years ago now. This video shows the filming locations used in Series 1 around the Doncaster area. I've attempted to locate them as best I can, however where I cannot I have left the scenes in anyway in the hope that someone might recognise them or perhaps remember where filming took place!
Locations include Lister Avenue (the shop and Nurse Glady's house), various streets around Balby, Doncaster, several scenes around Elmfield Park as well as streets in the Town Centre.

Dettifoss (Falling Waterfall) is an amazing waterfall. No wonder Riddley Scott chose this spectacular scenery to be the background of the opening scene of his movie Prometheus(2012). Dettifoss is europes biggest waterfall by volume. It is situated in the north eastern part of Iceland in Icelands biggest national park.

A Night at the Roxbury is a 1998 American comedy film based on a recurring sketch on television's long-running Saturday Night Live called "The Roxbury Guys". Saturday Night Live regulars Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, Molly Shannon, Mark McKinney and Colin Quinn star. This film expands on the original Saturday Night Live sketches where the Roxbury Guys were joined by that week's host, and bobbed their heads to Haddaway's hit song "What Is Love" while being comically rejected by women at various clubs.

Today we are checking out Dirty Dancing filming locations at the Mountain Lake Lodge in Pembroke Virginia and in Lake Lure North Carolina. Mountain Lake Lodge served as Kellerman's Mountain house in the Dirty Dancing movie as well as a lot of other locations in the film. The lake dried up for many years, but the lake is back now! We also visit Lake Lure, NC, where additional scenes were filmed and where Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey stayed during filming. It was such a joy to visit the locations of one of the most iconic movies of our time, Dirty Dancing. I hope you enjoy coming along.
