I set out on an adventure to document every location from the 1983 comedy classic National Lampoon's Vacation. This consisted of Flying to Chicago , renting a car and driving cross country along the same route that Clark Griswold and his family did in hopes of making it to Walley World in California . This was an undertaking that I've wanted to do for a very long time and am proud to say that now it is a reality . Enjoy !

The Fisherman may not be cracking any top slasher villains lists, but this 90s thriller makes for some light, fun teen-killing. The late-90s/early-00s version of the Brat Pack makes this movie rewatchable. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze, Jr., Jennifer Love-Hewitt, and Ryan Phillippe are always a good time. During Virginia's fall break from teaching, we headed out to filming hub, Wilmington, NC to film a few videos. With the new Halloween and Scream films done there, its now a hotspot for horror locations!

Big Trouble in Little China (also known as John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China) is a 1986 American fantasy action-comedy film co-scored and directed by John Carpenter, and starring Kurt Russell, Kim Cattrall, Dennis Dun and James Hong. The film tells the story of truck driver Jack Burton (Russell), who helps his friend Wang Chi (Dun) rescue Wang's green-eyed fiancée from bandits in San Francisco's Chinatown. They go into the mysterious underworld beneath Chinatown, where they face an ancient sorcerer named David Lo Pan (Hong), who requires a woman with green eyes to marry him in order to be released from a centuries-old curse.
In early June of 2024 I was finally able to fulfill a dream of mine I’ve had since early childhood…..to visit all the places where they filmed my favorite movie of all time…JAWS. Visiting Martha’s Vineyard and standing in the same spots where all this cinematic history was created was something I will never, ever forget. Memories I will carry with me for the rest of my life. It may be Martha’s Vineyard to the folks who live here, but to me….this is Amity Island. Get ready to see a few things you may have never seen before! I had the pleasure of meeting Richard Dreyfuss in October of 2023 and I told him I was going to Martha’s Vineyard in a few months to retrace his steps. He told me “there’s a lot of magic out there….and I’ve experienced a lot of it.”
After finally being there myself, I can personally attest to that. Magic indeed. Join me on my adventure to Amity Island!
