Mr. Deeds is a 2002 American comedy film directed by Steven Brill, written by Tim Herlihy, and produced by Sid Ganis and Jack Giarraputo. It stars Adam Sandler in the title role, alongside Winona Ryder, Peter Gallagher, Jared Harris, Allen Covert, Erick Avari, and John Turturro. The film is a remake of the 1936 Frank Capra film Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, which itself was based on the 1935 short story Opera Hat by Clarence Budington Kelland. It tells the story of a pizzeria owner who learns that he is the heir of a late multi-billionaire as he also meets a television reporter wanting a story on him.

We visit the filming locations for George Romero's 1978 DAWN OF THE DEAD. Sadly, we were asked to leave half way through filming because we were filming on private property without a permit. Here is the footage we got.

Dawn of the Dead (also known internationally as ZOMBI or ZOMBIE) is a 1978 film directed by George A. Romero. It was written in collaboration with the Italian filmmaker Dario Argento. DAWN OF THE DEAD was the second film made in Romero's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD series and shows in a larger scale the apocalyptic effects on society, though it contains no characters or settings from the film NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.

This abandoned funeral home was a long standing community staple within a small rural town, but that all changed back in 2019 when the owner was cited for nefarious and shady business practices, causing the state to intervene and shut the funeral home down for good.
During our explore, we were shocked to find several caskets, cabinets full of death records, an intact embalming room, and even cremains left behind. But nothing prepared us for what we discovered inside a couple of the caskets. Horrifically and unbelievably, we found possible blood stains from what most likely would have been deceased bodies that laid inside the caskets at some point in time.
It’s possible that the fluid stains could have been from leaking embalming fluid, however, either way this should have not happened with any body and with everything else that happened here, it may actually make sense especially since the funeral home had already been in hot water for their rather shameful conduct.
The once successful funeral home served the modest community for over 50 years before its permanent closure in 2019. The unexpected closure of the funeral home left many local residents shocked and saddened, and prompted questions about the reasons behind its sudden shutdown.
After the state board came in to investigate they found that the funeral homes owner had been pocketing clients money that was supposed to be set aside for their own funeral expenses or their loved one’s funeral costs. After being heavily sanctioned and fined by the state board, the owner was unable to come up with the money owed and subsequently, the funeral license was revoked.
This decision meant that the funeral home would not only be shut down, but would never be allowed to reopen again.
In conclusion, the closure of the funeral home can be mainly attributed to greed, as well as the internal management and operational challenges that it faced. It is a reflection of the broader trends affecting the funeral industry and the changing landscape of small businesses in rural communities.
Despite the closure, we can only hope that the legacy of the one time reputable funeral home will continue to resonate within the community it served for over 50 years.

Happy Gilmore is a 1996 American sports comedy film directed by Dennis Dugan and produced by Robert Simonds. It stars Adam Sandler as the title character, an unsuccessful ice hockey player who discovers a newfound talent for golf. The screenplay was written by Sandler and his frequent collaborator Tim Herlihy, in their second feature collaboration after the previous year's Billy Madison; the film also marks the first of multiple collaborations between Sandler and Dugan. Happy Gilmore was produced on a budget of $12 million and filmed entirely at locations in British Columbia. Most scenes taking place at golf courses were filmed at Pitt Meadows at the Swan-e-set Bay Resort & Country Club, while interior shots, such as those in the broadcast booth, took place in an abandoned Vancouver hospital.
