Originally as a spec script, the film was called Bill & Ted's Time Van. The core plot was similar, with Bill and Ted on the verge of failing their history class, ruining their plans to form a band. However, it deviated from the film version when they borrowed a van from their 28-year-old friend Rufus. While driving the van, they end up in Nazi Germany; and after some hijinks, bring Adolf Hitler back to present-day San Dimas before continuing to collect other historical figures. Solomon said this approach became problematic, and Hitler was switched out with Napoleon in their final script. Other ideas in the spec script that were dropped included more involvement of Bill and Ted's classmates, including having them time-travel with them; visiting Julius Caesar in the Roman Empire and ending up causing his death; and helping a prehistoric caveman invent fire so that they could light up a joint. The van, a 1969 Chevrolet, was abandoned as it was considered too similar to the DeLorean used in the Back to the Future trilogy. It was later replaced with a phone booth—which, contrary to common belief, was not intended as a reference to the TARDIS from the British sci-fi show Doctor Who. (Matheson said, "All of us were so clueless and knew nothing about Doctor Who.")  In earlier drafts of the script, other historical figures Bill and Ted plucked from history included Charlemagne (whom they referred to as "Charlie Mangay"), Babe Ruth, and a non-famous medieval person called John the Serf (who is nonetheless listed in the credits).

The ORIGINAL Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie EXPLODED onto the screen in 1990 and for us 80's/90s kids, it was one of, if not THE Greatest movie of ALL TIME! Turtle Power was all the rage as these original Heroes in a Half Shell came to life via the Jim Henson creature shop!

Now I had known the movie was filmed primarily in North Carolina on massive New York backlot sets, but while wandering in the city last year I found out to my surprise and pleasure that the original NINJA TURTLES DID do some filming in the Big Apple! 🍎

Just enough to spend a day hunting down as many TMNT I locations as we can, and a few BONUS locations from Part II; SECRET OF THE OOZE!

We should note there are a few more establishing shots and some shots of the Foot Lair supposedly on Roosevelt Island, we didn't have time to track down. But we did discover some places that at least at first glance appear to be previously unlisted on the internet! So lets hop to it!

A Night at the Roxbury is a 1998 American comedy film based on a recurring sketch on television's long-running Saturday Night Live called "The Roxbury Guys". Saturday Night Live regulars Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, Molly Shannon, Mark McKinney and Colin Quinn star. This film expands on the original Saturday Night Live sketches where the Roxbury Guys were joined by that week's host, and bobbed their heads to Haddaway's hit song "What Is Love" while being comically rejected by women at various clubs.

I took a trip and decided to get Lost in New York City seeking out the New York Locations for Home Alone 2. Kevin’s journey throughout the city visiting iconic locations including Radio City Music Hall, Central Park, and the Plaza Hotel. He ventures all over the city. After 3 years of being Americans living in England and exploring all of what the United Kingdom has to offer, we have decided to make the ULTIMATE HARRY POTTER TRAVEL GUIDE. We are massive HP fans and have taken every opportunity we could to venture out and find all of the Wizarding World adventures that exist within our area. We decided to combine our love of the franchise with some of the videos we have made throughout our time here to hopefully help you plan your Harry Potter Travel Itinerary.

In this video, we cover all of the Harry Potter filming locations throughout the UK as well as some special events and places you can visit. We start things off in London where we run through a list of HP-inspired sites including Platform 9 3/4s at Kings Cross, the Warner Brother Studio Tour, and the Cursed Child.

From there we take things North, up to Edinburgh. While no filming was done there, this city is packed to the brim with Wizarding World gold. Whether you want to take a look at Tom Riddles's grave at Greyfriar's Kirkyard or see where the story all began at the Elephant House, Edinburgh has you covered. Scotland was also host to loads of beautiful film sites outside of the city, so if you're wanting to venture out, there is lots to see.

We wrap up by talking about all of the various spots you can visit throughout the whole of the UK. If you're timing is right you can hit up the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience. But no matter the season, the countryside is brimming with amazing sites that will have you feeling like you're walking through Hogwarts yourself.

Harry Potter is something we are both extremely passionate about and really enjoy getting to do things like this! We have been so lucky to live in England and be able to jump on these opportunities. We really hope this helps you plan where you will be visiting when you make the trip across the pond!

The late-90s/early-00s version of the Brat Pack makes this movie rewatchable. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze, Jr., Jennifer Love-Hewitt, and Ryan Phillippe are always a good time. During Virginia's fall break from teaching, we headed out to filming hub, Wilmington, NC to film a few videos. With the new Halloween and Scream films done there, its now a hotspot for horror locations!
