In todayโs episode we take a look at an abandoned plantation mansion in the south. Built in 1824 by a Methodist minister and planter from Virginia. Originally part of a 1000 acre property that was sold several times over the years. From what we could find online it seems that this home was actually occupied up until about 5-6 years ago. The house was in the process of being renovated but became way too much work and the family moved out leaving the home abandoned. And in todayโs episode we are taking a look at another abandoned plantation mansion once owned by the governor! So join me today and letโs see whatโs left.
This 1835 brick mansion was once owned by the governor of this state and is known to be one of the most haunted places in the state. This entire property was once over 4000 acres of land including and entire family cemetery with graves dating back the 1700s, now with this place being known as a haunted mansion A&Es paranormal state featured this place on an episode where people said they would see the body of the governor roaming the rooms and land of the mansion. After entering the home we didnโt feel any sort of strange presence but I am not knocking the idea of this place possibly being haunted. So join me and letโs see what this place is like.

A Look Inside Whitney Houston's Abandoned House
Sitting in the middle of one of the most wealthy neighborhoods in America. This $8.5 million dollar mansion once owned by country music legend Kenny Rogers. The mansion has become nothing but an eyesore to the neighbors. weeds have grown to be over 7 feet tall from the neglect of the landscape as well as an in ground pool that is full of algae. But what could have possibly happened for it to be this way. But letโs go back to the beginning. The mansion was first built in 1990 as a castle like estate with over 15,000 square feet of living space featuring 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a 4 car garage and full basement with a bar, state of the art gym and much more. Now one thing that makes this place very special is that it was once owned by the late and great Country music star Kenny Rogers. He lived like a king in this marvelous mansion until 2006 when he sold it for $8.5 million dollars to a very wealthy family from Nigeria. This family ran many different dermatology locations throughout many states. Unfortunately there seemed to be some shady business going on. Around 2018 things took a turn for the worse for the family. The feds were after them for owing $6.5 million in back taxes. But the story doesnโt end there. After they left a family member was in charge of watching over the family estate. But what was really happening was the mansion was being rented out for events like weddings, and even music videos for Rappers Offset, 21 Savage, and Russ. But in just 17 months the police were called to the estate 100 times for noisy parties. The final straw was when rapper YFN lucci had a party at the mansion where many things got damaged and the police were called again. The town ultimately was fed up with the mansion being used for business and they shut the operation down. Ever since the grand estate has sat vacant and abandoned with many signs of neglect. So join me today and letโs see whatโs left!

In todayโs episode we take you on a tour of an abandoned farm house built in the 1840s. This small house along with its stables directly across the road was once home to a songwriter and author. Although of his great success he enjoyed living quietly in his little home. But around 2009 he decided to change lifestyles a bit moving him, his wife and one daughter to Los Angeles California so his daughter could pursue her dreams as a horse back rider. Now after the move the manโs nephew took over the property and what would happen next is straight out of a true crime story. While living in the house he went on a trip and when he arrived back he wanted to surprise his girlfriend who was still living at her parents home. But when he walked in and saw his girlfriend cheating on him he went crazy and stabbed her over 30 times and killed the man she was cheating with. Right after he drove back to the small home where he would later be arrested and sentenced to prison. And one thing we noticed inside the home was on the arm rest of the chair is what looks to be dried blood presumably there from when he got home after brutally stabbed his girlfriend. I think even though cheating on your partner is very bad I believe ending another life is even worse. So join me today and letโs see whatโs left.

This abandoned funeral home was a long standing community staple within a small rural town, but that all changed back in 2019 when the owner was cited for nefarious and shady business practices, causing the state to intervene and shut the funeral home down for good.
During our explore, we were shocked to find several caskets, cabinets full of death records, an intact embalming room, and even cremains left behind. But nothing prepared us for what we discovered inside a couple of the caskets. Horrifically and unbelievably, we found possible blood stains from what most likely would have been deceased bodies that laid inside the caskets at some point in time.
Itโs possible that the fluid stains could have been from leaking embalming fluid, however, either way this should have not happened with any body and with everything else that happened here, it may actually make sense especially since the funeral home had already been in hot water for their rather shameful conduct.
The once successful funeral home served the modest community for over 50 years before its permanent closure in 2019. The unexpected closure of the funeral home left many local residents shocked and saddened, and prompted questions about the reasons behind its sudden shutdown.
After the state board came in to investigate they found that the funeral homes owner had been pocketing clients money that was supposed to be set aside for their own funeral expenses or their loved oneโs funeral costs. After being heavily sanctioned and fined by the state board, the owner was unable to come up with the money owed and subsequently, the funeral license was revoked.
This decision meant that the funeral home would not only be shut down, but would never be allowed to reopen again.
In conclusion, the closure of the funeral home can be mainly attributed to greed, as well as the internal management and operational challenges that it faced. It is a reflection of the broader trends affecting the funeral industry and the changing landscape of small businesses in rural communities.
Despite the closure, we can only hope that the legacy of the one time reputable funeral home will continue to resonate within the community it served for over 50 years.
And thatโs going to take us to the end of the todayโs video on the abandoned funeral home with bloody caskets that was closed due to shady business practices.

Today you are coming with me on an exploration of an abandoned $5.5 million dollar mega mansion. Itโs so bizarre to see how many of these giant homes are left behind in America only to be destroyed by elements, people, and developers. But behind every abandoned home is a unique story of someoneโs life.
In todayโs episode we are taking a trip down south to a massive abandoned mansion that was last owned by an art and antique dealer, the 10,000 square foot mansion dates all the way back to 1920 being built in a Mediterranean style. But whatโs very unique about this place is that behind the main house is a horse shoe shaped structure that last served as luxurious condominiums. the family that lived here bought the mansion in the 1990s and ran their business from home, but in 2005 the man passed away due to an illness and his wife was unable to keep up with the mortgage. The bank eventually took over the property and ultimately left it abandoned with everything still inside. So join me today and letโs see whatโs left.

This abandoned barn was converted into living space and I was told it was a former bikers clubhouse. It included 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large bar, a commercial kitchen and a lounge area. It also had a few outbuildings and trailers for guests. It was later sold to a religious group to use as a religious retreat. It has been abandoned since 2007.

Built in Colonial Style in 1938, this mansion would soon be home to a dark secret. Firefighters were called to the home when an alarm was going off inside because of the lack of oxygen in the air. When crews arrived, they had to call the hazmat team to even go inside. What they found was haunting, over 115 accounts of animal abuse, and animals living in horrible conditions. The parents both went to prison, and the home was surrendered to the police, and shuttered. Their only child was left behind, only about 12. Her life stripped from her, as she learns the dark truth of her family. She grew up to become an animal rights activist. Today, we will be learning the entire story as we explore this abandoned crime scene mansion. If you enjoy leaves a thumbs up and consider subscribing for more exploring content !

Explore this beautiful old farmhouse soon to be torn down for a new subdivision along a busy interstate in the mountains of Tennessee. Built in the early 1800โs around 1830-1840. The house supposedly was used as a civil war field hospital as well as briefly used as a headquarters Union Troops. In recent years the house was a dairy farm and now is being sold for lots and a new housing subdivision will most likely take up its place and farm land around it. Glad I could document this neat old house before itโs gone. Thanks for watching. Like and leave a comment below for me if you enjoyed the video. Thank you.
We found a former fresh prince of be air mansion in Philadelphia! The entire shoe collection was left behind.
This beautiful old cape cod style house was built in the early 1900โs around 1935-1939 just before the onset of World War II. The house was built for a newly married couple and the husband would go off and serve in the navy and come back to raise a small family in this house. Over the years the kids moved away from the rural isolated area of the house and the couple grew old and passed away in the home in the early 1990โs. Sadly since then the house has sat vacant and derelict, slowly being overgrown by nature, covered away to be forgotten forever back into the earth. Really neat old house, glad I could document this unique old place. Thanks for watching. Like and leave a comment below for me if you enjoyed. Thank you.
This beautiful old house was built in the early 1800โs for a German family who moved to the united states in the late 1700โs eventually settling in South Carolina. The house was supposedly built around 1820-1825. The family farmed cotton, sweet potatoes and timber as well as other crops. Its isolated location protected it during the civil war and out of Shermanโs march to sea. Sadly now it seems the land is being developed all around, the fate and future of this house seems uncertain if it will be saved or torn down. Hopefully it ends up saved, glad I could document this historic old house. Thanks for watching! Like and leave a comment below if you enjoyed! Thank you.

Weeding helps maintain biodiversity in gardens by preventing invasive plant species from outcompeting native plants. Besides, they make a house look much worse than it is.
Fortunately, Cleanup Free 2T teaches us that with a little skill with a brush cutter and a coat of paint, you can bring a house back to life.

This unique old farm house was built sometime around 1890-1910, couldnโt find a clear date in the records. The original family this house was built for lived in a much more modest older house from the mid 1800โs which sits next door crumbling away as well sadly. This place had some beautiful victorian architecture like the hand carved newel post. And some other neat old features left. Was surprised how packed it was inside. Thanks for watching! Glad to have documented this historic old house before development and new houses erase it completely! Leave a like and comment if you enjoyed! Thank you.
This stunning second Empire house was supposedly built around the mid 1800โs sometime after the civil war for Western Dime Novel Author Ned Buntline. The man lived a very fascinating life supposedly meeting Wyatt Earp and some of the most famous names of the Wild West. I would encourage you to google Ned Buntline if this interests you because the man lived a very interesting life and I couldnโt possibly sum up all the strange and bizarre stories Iโve read about the author. He moved into this house with his fourth wife around 1871 and would live in this home until his death in 1886. He would name the house Eagles Nest after seeing two eagles nearby nesting in a tree on the property is the rumor. The house passed through multiple owners after Ned, sadly the house would end up vacant most of the later half of the 20th century only being used for storage. I spoke with a man who collects the maple syrup from the trees all around the property, and he said he made an offer to buy the house 30 years ago but was told itโs in to bad of shape, now 30 years later and the house is completely collapsed in the center of the mansard roof. (If you were curious what the blue hoses on the trees around the house, itโs maple trees and syrup being collected) big thanks to the neighbor for chatting with me and explaining about the maple syrup. Much appreciated good sir! Absolutely loved this house, so much beautiful architecture and history wish it could be saved. Thanks for watching! Like and leave comment if you enjoyed! Thank you!
