TOURIST TRAP (1979) Filming Locations – What’s Left of the Horror Classic? 4K

JOIN THE SECRET SOCIETY CLUB
http://www.patreon.com/worldofmicah

Hello and welcome to the World of Micah! I travel around filming everything and anything I find interesting –from theme parks to abandoned urban exploring. If you enjoy learning more about Disney history, tips & secrets or a fan of Walt Disney World nostalgia you have come to the right place. I also enjoy showing Universal Studios history and taking a look of what’s left of from classic attractions like JAWS and ‪Back to the Future‬. More of an Urban Exploring fan? I travel around Central Florida and film everything from abandoned Toys “R” Us stores to abandoned attractions. I'm also a major Movie Buff! I have found the filming locations from such films as Edward Scissorhands, Halloween (1978) & Hocus Pocus!

And why so many of them are shot in Vancouver.

This video is presented by Destination Vancouver. Learn more about Vancouver at findyourrefresh.com. Our sponsor has no editorial influence over how we report our stories, but their support makes videos like these possible.

Movie magic is what makes our favorite films so good: Actors flawlessly inhabiting the personalities of totally made-up characters, visual effects transforming a green screen to an otherworldly setting, musical scores making us feel every emotion under the sun. But there’s another kind of magic we don’t talk about as much: one physical location masquerading as another. And it happens all the time.

When filmmakers are trying to make a movie, deciding where to shoot isn’t as straightforward as choosing the location described in the script. They need to find a place with cooperative weather, a few landscapes to choose from, a big enough workforce, and — perhaps most importantly — one that fits their budget.

All these factors mean that locations with downtowns, country landscapes, mountain ranges, and water features within a drivable distance are highly sought after, especially when they also have good tax credits. While Hollywood might be the legendary film capital of the world, places like Vancouver are becoming more and more popular thanks to the flexible landscapes and tax breaks.

This is especially true for holiday movies — many of which are filmed in Canada. In this video, we talk to a prolific Christmas movie producer — who has worked on films like 2024’s Netflix hit Hot Frosty — about shooting movies in Canada.

Correction: In a previous version of this video we mistakenly said that Clark Kent's farm in the TV show Smallville was in Kentucky at :58 and 1:13. The Kent family farm was actually in Kansas. We've corrected the error.

In this filming location adventure we explore the Robin Williams 1995 classic Jumanji. This particular location was used several times for both the past and present day throughout the film. Used for both introductions and stampedes there are many important events that take place on this road. Follow along as we explore this amazing little town of Keene New Hampshire and the old stomping grounds of Alan Parish. Enjoy

Discovering the locations of the film Rambo First Blood, film with Sylvester Stallone (John Rambo), Richard Crenna (Samuel Trautman), Brian Dennehy (Will Teasle), David Caruso
(Delegate Mitch) from 1982 by director Ted Kotcheff, based on a novel by David Morrell.
This short film of mine tells about my 2 trips taken in British Columbia (Canada) in 2010 and 2016, to discover the original locations of the film.
The film was almost entirely shot in Hope, but some scenes were also shot outside the country e.g. in Port Coquitlam, but always in British Columbia.
Good vision :)

You can see another interesting video of mine on the locations of "The Godfather" at this link: https://youtu.be/cS9uhFzAi8w

Il film è stato quasi interamente girato a Hope, ma alcune scene sono state girate anche al di fuori del paese ad es a Port Coquitlam, ma sempre in British Columbia.
Buona visione :)

I’m trusting you, yeah
Don’t threaten me with a good good time aint gon lie
I got you
Come sit on me, i eat the peach chasing your soul
Licky lick
Oh my god
Switch it to me you’re on your knees
Sucking the soul out of me
Massaging your feet, babe
Feel the heat wave
Go on sweat it out, know its a week day
Know you gotta go to work
But today you gonna be a little late
Cause i’m gonna let you sleep
You going to be rushing when you gotta leave
I love you girl, I’m teasing,
When we’re done I’ll get you where you gotta be
But first you need to fuck the shit out of me

I wanna keep loving you
Loving you right, loving you right, loving you (Oh baby)
Touching you right, touching you right, touching you (I just want to touch you right)
Feels for tonight, best time of our lives (the best time)
Loving you right, loving you right, loving you (Loving you)
Loving you right, loving you right, loving you (Loving you)
Touching you right, touching you right, touching you (right)
Feels for tonight, best time of our lives
Loving you right, loving you right
