how to tell someone's fortune:
- open the flaps (of the triangles, not the squares) and frite random
fortunes underneith the flaps
- Have someone pick one of the colors.
- Spell out the color and move the fortune teller in or out for each
letter. For example, if the person says "red," move the fortune
teller out for "r," in for "e," and out again for "d." Pause it in place
where it lands.
- Have the person look into the "mouth" of the fortune teller and
pick one of the four numbers that's visible. Let's say she picks 5.
Move the fortune teller in, then out, then in, then out, then in, for a
total of five moves. Pause the fortune teller in place where it
lands.
- Have the person look into the fortune teller and pick a new
number. This time, open the flap and read the fortune that goes
with that number.

#superbad #filminglocations #filminglocationsthenandnow

Superbad is a 2007 American coming-of-age teen comedy film directed by Greg Mottola and produced by Judd Apatow. The film stars Jonah Hill and Michael Cera as Seth and Evan, two teenagers about to graduate from high school. Before graduating, the boys want to party and lose their virginity, but their plan proves harder than expected. Written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the script began development when they were 13 years old, and was loosely based on their experience in Grade 12 at Point Grey Secondary School in Vancouver during the 1990s; the main characters have the same given names as the two writers. Rogen was also initially intended to play Seth, but due to age and physical size this was changed, and Hill went on to portray Seth, while Rogen portrayed the irresponsible Officer Michaels, opposite Saturday Night Live star Bill Hader as Officer Slater.

The film was primarily shot in Los Angeles.[5]

The high school is actually the exterior of El Segundo High School. The mall scenes were shot at the Fox Hills Mall (which became the Westfield Culver City mall) in Culver City, California.

Other filming locations include the convenience store at the beginning of the film, also in Culver City, the liquor store where "McLovin" gets IDed in Glendale, California, and the bar where the cops take McLovin for a drink is neighboring Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The scene where McLovin and the cops do donuts in the cop car was filmed in a parking lot on the California State University, Northridge campus.

#filminglocations #thenandnow #heat

On April 5, 1994, Mann was reported to have abandoned his earlier plan to shoot a biopic of James Dean in favor of directing Heat, producing it with Art Linson. The film was marketed as the first on-screen appearance of Al Pacino and Robert De Niro together in the same scene – both actors had previously starred in The Godfather Part II, but owing to the film's double story structure, they were never seen in the same scene. Pacino and De Niro were Mann's first choices for the roles of Hanna and McCauley, respectively, and they both immediately agreed to act.

Mann assigned Janice Polley, a former collaborator on The Last of the Mohicans, as the film's location manager. Scouting locations lasted from August to December 1994. Mann requested locations that had not appeared on film before, in which Polley was successful – fewer than 10 of the 85 filming locations were previously used. The most challenging shooting location proved to be Los Angeles International Airport, with the film crew almost missing out due to a threat to the airport by the Unabomber. On the DVD commentary, Mann noted it would be impossible to film the airport climax in the same way following the events of 9/11.

To make the long shootout more realistic they hired British ex-Special Air Service sergeant Andy McNab as a technical weapons trainer and adviser. He designed a weapons training curriculum to train the actors for three months using live ammunition before shooting with blanks for the actual take and worked with training them for the bank robbery.

De Niro was the first cast member to receive the film script, showing it to Pacino, who also wanted to be a part of the film. De Niro believed Heat was a "very good story, had a particular feel to it, a reality and authenticity. In 2016, Pacino revealed that he viewed his character as having been under the influence of cocaine throughout the whole film.

In order to prepare the actors for the roles of McCauley's crew, Mann took Kilmer, Sizemore, and De Niro to Folsom State Prison to interview actual career criminals. While researching her role, Judd met several former prostitutes who became housewives.

Initially, Keanu Reeves was offered the role of Chris Shiherlis, which he turned down in favor of playing Hamlet at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre. As a result, Val Kilmer was given the role.

Prior to being cast as Ralph, Berkeley played Waingro in L.A. Takedown.

Principal photography for Heat lasted 107 days during the summer of 1995.
All of the shooting was done on location, due to Mann's decision not to use a soundstage.

"Haunted House" is the sequel to our hugely popular "Halloween Night", an animated Halloween video for the whole family. Haunted House features a chant-like song and a video in which three kids in costumes (superhero, butterfly fairy, and bee costumes) encounter various Halloween creatures and monsters as they walk through a haunted mansion. At the end of the video, the kids are invited to a Halloween dance party in main ballroom. There you'll see a vampire, skeletons, ghosts, zombies, a friendly monster and kids having fun dancing to the Halloween music. We hope you enjoy the video and perhaps get some Halloween costume / dress up ideas!

A while ago I made a RUSSIAN MOVIE REVIEW of the film Brat (1997), translated as "Brother". This movie directed by Alexei Balabanov and starring Sergei Bodrov Jr. became a cult classic in Russia and has also left an impression on a lot of Westerners. If you watched the movie, you know Brat was set in Saint Petersburg. In today's video I'm going to be visiting locations from the movie Brat in real life and seeing how much they changed since 1997. Hope you enjoy! Smash like and sub for more thx xoxo
