Anjelah Johnson shares with us some of her stories and jokes from her one hour special, Mahalo & Goodnight. From getting an awkward massage to her struggles walking in high heels, Anjelah brought the funny and reminded us that laughter is medicine.

Anjelah Johnson was born and raised in San Jose, California and is of Mexican and Native American descent. She became an internet sensation with her viral video, “Nail Salon” which led to many stand up, television and film opportunities. That same year she joined the cast of, “MADtv” as a series regular, which spawned another internet sensation, “Bon Qui Qui.” This original character, a disgruntled fast food employee with no filter, has been enjoyed, viewed and replicated by over 65 million people worldwide. After recording and releasing 3 songs and 2 music videos as Bon Qui Qui, Anjelah signed a record deal with Warner Bros. Records to release a full album titled, “Gold Plated Dreams”. Anjelah resides in Los Angeles with her husband and continues to act and tour the country with her sold out comedy shows.

Andrea Jin is a stand-up comedian and writer born in Shanghai, currently based in Los Angeles. She just made her late night TV debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden. She was selected as New Face at Just for Laugh’s Montreal Festival in 2021, and has performed at JFL Northwest, SiriusXM’s Top Comic, Seattle International Comedy Competition, CBC’s The Debaters, and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. Her writing has been featured on Vice, CBC Comedy, and the Vancouver Sun among other publications. You can hear her on JFL’s Best of the West Comedy Album and on her solo Juno Award winning comedy album 'Grandma's Girl'.

This video was shot in Boston, Massachusetts on 25th March, 2023.
It was my first ever visit to the USA and I am very exited to present to you some of my favourite observations & experiences from the days I spent in the US as part of my Stand Up World Tour.
These are observational jokes rehearsed and delivered in 12-13 shows, unlike conventional stand up content which takes a couple of years to perfect. So need all your love, appreciation and support as I deal with timezone differences, the concept of drinkable tap water and Costco as the one stop shop for all possible needs.
