In this episode, I'm taking you inside of a place unlike any I've ever explored. What we found inside of this mansion was absolutely bone chilling and the story of the heinous events that took place here is quite disturbing, to say the least.

Built in the early 90's this mansion's existence began as a seemingly normal family home as a father, wife, and their son and daughter all lived here. The father made his wealth through the party and entertainment industry as he owned two stores that sold party supplies and hosted most of the major events in the area.

But in 2010 tragically, his wife passed away from breast cancer and that's when things took a dark turn. Not long after her death, he began directing and even participating amateur adult films. All was well until it was discovered he was luring unassuming woman to his house, often using his money, power and drugs as a way to entice them. And when they got to his home, he was secretly filming his sexual acts with them and selling the tapes.

Fortunately, his luck wouldn't last long as almost immediately the local authorities were tipped off about is illegal sexual exploitations and his house was raided. Inside, they found dozens of home made sex tapes of his victims along with a considerable amount of cocaine.

He was indicted on charges of voyeurism and possession of narcotics. He was only sentenced to 6 months in jail but his legal debts and shattered reputation forced him to move far away and leave everything behind.

Like a crumbled empire, this house now sits abandoned with much of his belongings from the past still inside.

So let's step inside of this place and let's find out what's left behind.

In the heart of a quaint, forgotten neighborhood stood this small, weathered house. Inside, memories danced in every corner, whispered in every creak of the floorboards. This was the home of Edith and her beloved husband, Arthur. For decades, they built a life within these walls, filling it with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Edith was the epitome of grace and warmth, her gentle smile like a beacon of light in the darkest of times. Arthur, her devoted companion, stood by her side through every joy and sorrow, and their love a testament to the enduring power of partnership.

As the years passed, time took its toll, leaving its mark on the once vibrant couple. Arthur's laughter grew softer, his steps slower, while Edith's hands trembled with age. Yet, their bond remained unbreakable, a love that weathered every storm.
Then, one fateful day, Edith's gentle spirit departed from this world, leaving Arthur behind, grieving and alone. With her passing, the house seemed to lose its soul, the rooms echoing with the emptiness of her absence.

Putting pieces of the Puzzle together the best I could, I believe that Arthur found himself adrift in a sea of memories, each one a bittersweet reminder of the life they had shared. He wandered through the rooms, tracing his fingers over photographs frozen in time, each a cherished relic of their love story.
But as Arthur mourned the loss of his beloved Edith, the world outside their home marched on, indifferent to his grief. The city, and it's bureaucracy placed a condemnation notice on their door,
And so, the house stood abandoned, a silent witness to the love that once filled its walls. The photographs faded the mementos gathering dust as if even the memories themselves were slowly slipping away.
But to me, it's still a mystery why they didn't want any of Edith's belongings. Perhaps it was the weight of sorrow that hung heavy in the air, too painful to comprehend. Or maybe it was the fear of confronting their own mortality, a reminder that love, no matter how deep, could still be lost to time.
But amidst the desolation, there was a beauty to be found, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, love endures. For Edith and Arthur, their legacy lived on in the hearts of those who knew them, a testament to the power of a love that transcends even death itself. And though their house may have stood empty, their spirits lingered on, forever intertwined in the tapestry of memories they had woven together.

Today we take a look at the abandoned home of Mike and his wife Stella. They met and started dating while in high school together and later married to start a family, but while Stella stayed home to take care of the children Mike was enlisted in the army and fighting for our country, after a few years he was able to return home to his family because he suffered a serious injury that caused him to not be able to work. So when he came home he took care of the children while Stella went to work. Many years go by and the children moved away to have their own lives and Stella ended up passing away to natural causes in the late 1990s. Mike lived alone in the house for about 5 more years before his health rapidly declined causing him to pass away in his sleep. The home has sat abandoned ever since with everything still inside. Untouched by time and disruption for decades, this home has been naturally decaying since the family last left. Leaving meals on the table and everything left leaving a mystery in why this family vanished. The home itself is now a time capsule. Walking through its doors is the closest thing you can do to walking back in time. I love I you.

now before you laugh or make fun of me, or just think I'm weird,

let me tell you what I mean by that first.

I don’t mean it in some fake, warm and fuzzy, sentimental kind of way.

And I’m not saying it just to be nice, or to look good, or to get you to like me.

What I mean is, at the very least, I only want what is good for you.

At the very most, I mean, i'll give myself, my life, in any way I can, for your good.

And I don’t care how I feel, or how I look, or what Im getting out of it,

or if I feel like it or not.

Love doesn't go this way.

Only this way.

And who are you?

Well you could be anyone.

my friend, my family, my spouse, person I like.

well thats easy, anyone can love the people they like.

What about the person I don't like, the person who doesn't like me, the person nobody likes,

what about the person I totally disagree with, the person who's completely different from me, there person I want to hate, the person everyone hates, the person who repulses me.

DOESN'T matter.

Love doesn't pick and choose who to love, just like the sun doesn’t pick and choose who to shine on, it just shines.

And what is your good?

Well it's all those little things that are gonna help us find the one thing that we all want, that we’re all searching for,

happiness.

as much as we can find here in this life, but more importantly, the full happiness that we can only find in the next life.

and I'll love you no matter what you do,

but that doesn't mean I’m going to love everything you do.

Love has to be tough, sometimes even fierce.

If you do anything that's gonna harm, impede, poison, delay or divert your good,

or the good of anyone else's,

I have to stand against it, not you.

Even if it's awkward, even if it's unpopular, even if it's gonna turn you against me,

for a little while.

But even when love is tough,

Love is always patient.

That's why we have a whole lifetime.

love is always gentle, kind, tender, loving,

never pushy, preachy, pointing fingers, rigid or mean.

and I don’t care what you’ve done, or how big you've screwed up, or how vast our differences are, or if your life is a giant, global sized disaster.

love is bigger than all these things.

And I don't care how worthless, or flawed, or unlovable, or insignificant, you think you may be.

love breaks through all these.

and if you get hurt, which we do,

or get into trouble, which we do,

or get beat up by the world, which we will.

and you're tired, and angry, and bitter, and miserable, and scared, LIKE THE REST OF US,

and feel like you’re, drifting all alone in a sea of, suffering…

ill suffer with you.

and if we disagree and get into those epic fights, which we will,

and even if you betray me, and laugh at me, and make me look stupid,

and walk away a thousand times,

Ill forgive you, a million times,

because nothing that could ever happen in this tiny little universe,

could ever be more important to me than you.

Not even myself.

This is what I mean when I say I love you…

but this is not my love…

my love is weak, and self-centered at best.

this is his love.

and he said, he commanded,

go out there and love one another as I loved you.

so I'll say it say again even though I know i'm gonna fail at it a million times today.

How you define Stephen Duneier depends on how you came to know him. Some define him as an expert institutional investor, while others know him as a large scale installation artist, avid outdoorsman, professor, decision strategist, coach, business leader, mindfulness extremist, author, speaker, daredevil or Guinness world record holder. In his talk, Stephen explains that what truly defines him aren't titles, but an approach to decision making that transformed him from someone who struggled with simple tasks to a guy who is continuously achieving even his most ambitious dreams.

For thirty years, he has applied cognitive science to investing, business and life. The result has been the turnaround of numerous institutional businesses, career best returns for managers who have adopted his methods, the development of a $1.25 billion dollar hedge fund and a rapidly shrinking bucket list.
Mr. Duneier teaches graduate courses on Decision Analysis in UCSB’s College of Engineering. His book, AlphaBrain is due for release in early 2017 from Wiley & Sons.
Through Bija Advisors, he helps business leaders improve performance by applying proven, proprietary decision-making methods to their own processes.
His artwork has been featured around the world and is represented by the Sullivan Goss Gallery. As Commissioner of the League of Professional Educators, Duneier is using cognitive science to alter the landscape of American education. He is the former Head of Currency Option Trading at Bank of America and Emerging Markets at AIG International.
