Part 2 of the trip that took in Kensal and North Kensington; we continue down through Notting Hill in the direction of Holland Park, taking in secluded mews, old churches and a stop at a boozer patronised by two dodgy 'Aussies' to boot!

We're back, with a jaunt along the Thames at Hammersmith, and a stroll along the equally lovely (!) A4 Great West Road.

Party animal Rick Gassko, who makes his living as a Catholic-school bus driver, decides to settle down and marry his girlfriend, Debbie Thompson. After learning the news of the engagement, Rick's shocked friends, led by Jay, decide to throw him an epic bachelor party. The bride's wealthy, conservative parents are unhappy with her decision, and her father enlists the help of Debbie's ex-boyfriend Cole to sabotage her relationship with Rick and win her back.

The idea for the film came from an actual bachelor party thrown by producer Ron Moler and a group of friends for fellow producer Bob Israel. Several members of the film's cast and crew were at that party when the idea began to take shape.

The film was made in the wake of the success of Police Academy.

Going on a tour of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” locations, all found in and around San Francisco.

1) Union Square, at the corner of Geary and Powell streets. It’s the opening shot of the movie where we’re introduced to Melanie Daniels (Tippi Hedren)

2) Bay Hill road, the scenic drive Melanie takes to reach Bodega Bay.

3) The Tides Restaurant in Bodega Bay, site of the infamous bird assault on the town.

4) The Bodega Bay docks where Melanie Daniels rents a boat and is then pecked by a seagull.

5) The Potter School House, the “Bodega Bay School” in the movie, where the children are viciously attacked by the homocidal birds.

The Sandlot is a 1993 American coming-of-age sports comedy film co-written, directed, and narrated by David Mickey Evans. Scarface is a 1983 American crime drama film directed by Brian De Palma and written by Oliver Stone. Loosely based on the 1929 novel of the same name and serving as a loose remake of the 1932 film, it tells the story of Cuban refugee Tony Montana (Al Pacino), who arrives penniless in Miami during the Mariel boatlift and becomes a powerful and extremely homicidal drug lord. The film co-stars Steven Bauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Robert Loggia. De Palma dedicated this version of Scarface to the writers of the original film, Howard Hawks and Ben Hecht.
