In today's video I go to some of the film locations from one of the greatest comedy films of all time, Shaun of the Dead.
"Shaun of the Dead," directed by Edgar Wright and released in 2004, is a quintessential blend of horror and comedy that has garnered a cult following for its innovative approach to the zombie genre. The film stars Simon Pegg as Shaun, a disenchanted electronics store employee who finds himself at the epicenter of a zombie apocalypse. Co-written by Wright and Pegg, "Shaun of the Dead" seamlessly marries sharp wit with genuine scares, creating a unique narrative that balances heartfelt moments with gory action.
Set in suburban London, the film explores Shaun's mundane existence, marked by a failing relationship with his girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield), a strained dynamic with his stepfather (Bill Nighy), and a co-dependent friendship with his slacker roommate Ed (Nick Frost). The onset of the zombie outbreak serves as a catalyst for Shaun's reluctant transformation from an apathetic everyman to an unexpected hero. As he bands together with friends and family to survive, the film satirizes both the zombie genre and modern life's monotonous routines.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Italian: Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo), is a 1966 Italian epic spaghetti western film directed by Sergio Leone, starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach in the title roles.
Ennio Morricone composed the famous film score, including its main theme. It is the third and final film in the Dollars trilogy following A Fistful of Dollars (1964) and For a Few Dollars More (1965).
Leone was unable to find an actual cemetery for the Sad Hill shootout scene, so the Spanish pyrotechnics chief hired 250 Spanish soldiers to build one in Carazo near Salas de los Infantes, which they completed in two days.

Sony has finally detailed how backwards compatibility on PlayStation 5 will work, so if you have any questions on how to play PS4 games on PS5, this video has all the answers.
Like Xbox Series X/S, the PlayStation 5 will support backwards compatibility with the previous generation of games. Sony has said that about 99% of the over 4000 games available on PS4 will be playable on PS5. But, of course, that raises questions. Like, how will saves work across generations? And will PS4 games look the same on PS5?
In the video above, Lucy James walks through the most burning questions that relate to PS5 backwards compatibility. She focuses on talking about PS5's "Game Boost," remote play, digital vs. physical, how different it will be to play certain games with a PS5 DualSense as opposed to a PS4 DualShock 4, PSVR, and save transfers.
There's the big question too: Given that the PS5 will only support 99% of the PS4 library, what 1% of games won't be able to be played on next-gen? The list of unsupported titles currently includes Robinson: The Journey and Hitman Go: Definitive Edition. Sony will maintain and constantly update a page of all the games that don't make the cut, though it shouldn't be too long when all is said and done.
Sony jumps into next-gen just two days after Microsoft, with PlayStation 5 scheduled to release on November 12. The next-gen console will launch with both a standard version and a cheaper all-digital edition, which may save you a bit of cash up-front but could cost you in the long-run. Weeks away from the console's release, the PS5 launch line-up is beginning to take shape, and includes The Pathless and the Demon's Souls remake, among others.

The Waterboy (1998)
Raised by his overprotective mother, Helen (Kathy Bates), Bobby Boucher Jr. (Adam Sandler) is the water boy for a successful college football team coached by Red Beaulieu (Jerry Reed). When Beaulieu fires Bobby, he takes up the same position for a losing rival team, led by despairing Coach Klein (Henry Winkler). After witnessing Bobby beat up a player who teased him too much, Klein adds him to the roster as a linebacker. Soon, Klein's players are championship contenders.

Seven (stylized as SE7EN) is a 1995 American neo-noir[3] psychological crime thriller film directed by David Fincher and written by Andrew Kevin Walker. Se7en was shot in Los Angeles, California, USA. Even the pizza restaurant called "New York Pizza" in the film was located in Hollywood, California. Additional filming took place at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank.

For as long as I can remember I have been a fan of the Rocky movies. Growing up with a brother who was a very talented boxer and my father who was a boxing coach โ the sport of boxing was always a part of my life growing up.
The rocky movies have inspired me and motivated me through the years through my personal fitness journey, and they have entertained me for many many decades.
When I made a trip to Philadelphia in the Spring of 2024, I set aside time to visit a few key sites from the Rocky movie franchise.
